Pathways


NABA’s Leadership Institute includes workshops designed for the professional looking to reach the next level in their career path. These sessions are attended by professionals from the fields of accounting, financial services, IT, manufacturing, retail, regulatory agencies, government and not-for-profits. The general description and attendee requirements for each program are as follows:

Pathways - June 6

Provides a foundation for “the best and the brightest” who aspire to move their careers in the direction of senior and executive level management. This program creates the opportunity for individuals to increase their self-awareness, and understand how knowing oneself will empower them with the ability to better understand and interrelate with others to ensure the development of a winning management style. Using a wide range of tools, the program seeks to allow participants to understand what is necessary to handle situations, and will allow “practice” in handling these situations.

Topics Include:

  • Empowering individuals to reach their corporate goals sooner
  • Using best practices to accelerate one’s ability to succeed
  • Development of individual leadership style
  • Developing Your Network
  • Recruiting Mentors and Advisors

Attendee Requirements:

Participants must have 4 to 7 years of work experience in accounting, finance or related fields. These sessions are designed for those aspiring to the management level.
